These Wedding Booking Terms & Conditions apply specifically to all wedding and civil partnership bookings made with Abigail Victoria (“the Performer”, “I”, “me”).
They are in addition to, and take precedence over, the general Terms & Conditions where applicable.

By confirming a wedding booking, the Client (“you”) agrees to the following terms.

1. Bookings & Confirmation

1.1 Wedding bookings are only confirmed once:

  • The booking has been agreed in writing, and

  • The required deposit has been received.

1.2 Upon confirmation, the event date is removed from availability and cannot be offered to other clients.

2. Fees & Deposits

2.1 All wedding bookings require a non-refundable deposit to secure the date.
2.2 The remaining balance must be paid no later than 30 days before the event date, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
2.3 Failure to pay the balance by the due date may result in cancellation of the booking without refund.

3. Cancellations (Client)

Due to the nature of wedding bookings and the difficulty of rebooking cancelled dates, the following cancellation charges apply:

  • More than 90 days before the event date: Deposit is retained.

  • 90–60 days before the event date: 50% of the total agreed fee is payable.

  • 59–30 days before the event date: 75% of the total agreed fee is payable.

  • Less than 30 days before the event date: 100% of the total agreed fee is payable.

These charges apply regardless of the reason for cancellation.

4. Postponements & Date Changes

4.1 Postponements and date changes are treated as cancellations due to the difficulty of reselling wedding dates.
4.2 Any rescheduling is subject to availability and entirely at the discretion of the Performer.
4.3 Payments already made are non-refundable and may not be transferable to a new date.

5. Venue & Schedule Changes

5.1 Any changes to venue, performance time, or running order must be communicated as soon as possible.
5.2 Significant changes may result in additional charges or refusal to perform if they materially affect the agreed booking.

6. Performance Details

6.1 Performance times, set lengths, and requirements will be agreed in advance.
6.2 Additional performance time requested on the day is not guaranteed and may incur additional fees.
6.3 The Client is responsible for ensuring:

  • Adequate performance space

  • Safe access and power supply (where required)

  • Reasonable shelter for outdoor performances

7. Equipment & Technical Matters

7.1 I provide my own professional sound equipment unless otherwise agreed.
7.2 I am not liable for performance issues caused by venue restrictions, faulty power supplies, or conditions beyond my control.

8. Illness & Force Majeure

8.1 In the unlikely event I am unable to perform due to illness or circumstances beyond my control, any fees paid will be refunded in full.
8.2 No further liability will be accepted for additional costs or losses.

9. Conduct & Safety

9.1 Abusive, threatening, or inappropriate behaviour from guests, staff, or attendees may result in immediate termination of the performance without refund.
9.2 The Client is responsible for the conduct of guests at the event.

10. Media & Recording

10.1 The Performer may capture short photos or video clips during the event for promotional use unless otherwise requested in writing prior to the event.
10.2 The Client may not record or reproduce the performance for commercial use without prior written consent.

11. Liability & Insurance

11.1 The Performer is not liable for injury, loss, or damage during the event unless caused by proven negligence.
11.2 The Client is responsible for ensuring the venue meets any insurance or licensing requirements.

12. Governing Law

These Wedding Booking Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
